Associate Professor (Law)

Dr. D. Ganesh Kumar is presently working as Associate Professor in GITAM School of Law, Visakhapatanam, Andhra Pradesh since Fenruary,2023. He is also the Head, Research and Publication Cell, GITAM School of Law, Visakhapatanam. Did his LLB from Pendekanti Law College under Osmania University, Hyderabad with First Class in the year 2007. Enrolled as an Advocate in the Bar Council of erstwhile State of Andhra Pradesh in the year 2007. While practicing as an Advocate pursued LLM (Constitutional Law) from Post Graduate College of Law, Osmania University, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad, and passed with Distinction.

Was awarded “Sri Duvvuri Narasaraju and D.Narsamma Memorial Gold Medal” for obtaining the Highest Marks in Constitutional Law Branch and Standing University first in LLM in the year 2009. Served as Assistant Professor (Law) in Pendekanti Law College, Hyderabad from September, 2010 to October, 2015 and has taught Constitutional law for LLB and LLM Students. Has chaired sessions, participated in Many Seminars, Conferences and Workshops conducted by Osmania University, NALSAR, ICRC, IPE, Central University, Hyderabad Etc., and published Research Articles, papers, book chapters in reputed journals in Law including SCOPUS etc. Was Guest Faculty to Andhra Pradesh Police Academy from 2010 to 2012, till the State was bifurcated.

Has Cleared ‘APSET-2013 for eligibility for Lecturer-ship’ conducted by integrated State of Andhra Pradesh. Also cleared “UGC NET-2013 for eligibility for Assistant Professor”. Awarded Ph.D from Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam in the year 2019. Worked in Symbiosis Law School as Assistant Professor October,2015 to Feb, 2023.  He was member of sub-committee BoS of SIU, external subject expert for IFHE- HP.    was the co-head of Research and Publication Cell and Department of Post-Graduate Studies at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad.
